Le Pommier Shoes

The Asian part of me is drawn to cute things, and nothing's cuter than cartoon rabbits and bears. When said rabbits and bears are on shoes, it's a match made in heaven. When I stumbled upon Le Pommier by Ameber (also known as No Concept but Good Sense) shoes, I let out a girly squeal and cooed over the little cartoon animals stitched onto flats. The left and right shoe are a little different from each other but that's what makes these shoes so charming. I am determined to get a pair but they seem to only be available in parts of Asia. Supposedly, the brand is Japanese but I can't locate a website or even a department store that sells them. I know there's a store in Singapore and Shanghai. Maybe next time I’m visiting relatives in China, I might make a side trip to Shanghai for a shopping spree.

I LOVE these shoes too! Whenever I visit Singapore I purchase about 4-5 pairs at a time. They have a couple of stores, one at Bugis Junction and another at Central, Clark Quay. Going back soon to stock up!! Pity they don't have on-line as I'd regularly purchase too. I rang them and e-mailed them to purchase some more to send to Australia but I never got an e-mail back which was a pity.

I was in Singapore 2 days for work and making use of my time there to walk around. I went to Clarke Quay for dinner and saw this Central. While half way discovering the quiet mall, I saw this shop. WOW!! THE SHOES ARE SO CUTE!! I have not seen them before in Malaysia!! The staff was very friendly and attentive :) When I wore them for a dinner, all my friends were asking me where I bought these shoes as they have not seen these type of shoes in KL yet.

I'm Dadang from Manila, Philippines. Eversince I bought my first 2 pairs in Hong Kong in February 2007 I am so addicted to it. Now its so easy to buy in Singapore because of Le Pommier (in Bugis Junction and Central). I have 18 pairs now and will still continue to buy. They are the most comfy flats!

Hello !

Just googling Le Pommier as I am about to list a few treasures (bought recently on a trip)on my new online store - no intentions of being a salesperson, but I read your blog and share the passion for quirky Le Pommier too.

ps I think I have card somewhere for the lovely girls in the Singapore store, so will try to dig out and pass details to you.

Also, google Braceialini Leathergoods - but mostly the 'Tuo' range - quirky as well but much higher pricepoint!

i got mine for $50, as they were having a sale. but not le pommier, but yen by ameber, which carry the same style shoes anyway. i was lucky, because i was about to buy the le pommier $100 shoes when my sister waved me over to the next stall, which was having 50% off the shoes once you buy another item (one of my relatives bought a cheaper item so i can get my shoes at half off)
